Canada's public transportation system is well-developed in urban centers but hardly non-existent in remote areas.
Urban Areas: Major cities like Toronto, Vancouver, and Montreal offer extensive public transit networks, including buses, subways, streetcars, and commuter trains. Toronto's TTC and Vancouver's TransLink are efficient for city travel, while Montreal's STM provides reliable metro and bus services. All systems accept reloadable transit cards for easy access.
Intercity Travel: VIA Rail and long-distance buses, such as Greyhound and Megabus, connect cities and regions.
Remote Areas: In rural and northern regions, public transport is limited or nonexistent.
